On 10th July, our company signed the Memorandum of Intention agreement with Baicheng wind power exploitation leading group. According to the agreement, we can get the exclusive right to develop 1500MW wind power resources. The Baicheng wind power exploitation leading group is authorized by municipal government to manage the wind resource exploitation and the local wind power industry development.

Baicheng area has plenty of high quality wind resource: the exploitable wind power scale is 207.6 trillion KWH, the exploitable area is more than 5000 square kilometers, the wind power capacity is 20GW, and it is the most potential wind resource area. The planned wind farm is about 5000 square kilometers; the planned total capacity is over 10GW. The current capacity is over 1GW. The development of wind power in Baicheng becomes the sharp point in China's new energy sector.

In 2009, the wind power development target of Baicheng adds another 1GW and the total planned capacity is over 2GW, and it has already been included in the national large scale wind farm plan. To support the national plan, five 500KV transformer substations will be constructed and four of them will be located in Baicheng area. The construction project is already in process, it will guarantee the transmission of the wind power.

Furthermore, the price of the wind power is such high as 0.61RMB/KWH

According to Baicheng's advantages of the high quality wind resource、the strong support of transmission、the high wind power price, our company has already invested 100MW wind farm and the related equipment manufacture. Our company will keep expanding the investment in Baicheng; promoting the high quality wind resource exploitation and the local economics.
