Recently, China WindPower Group Limited ("China WindPower" or the "Group") (stock code: 182), a specialist in wind power electricity generation in China, has signed an exclusive agreement with Fuxin Municipal Government in Liaoning Province to develop wind power electricity projects with capacity of 500MW, another such agreement secured by the Group after the first two in Fumeng (阜蒙) County and Zhangwu (彰武) County, Fuxin City.

Fuxin in Liaoning Province has rich wind resources and boasts favourable on-grid conditions including high on-grid tariff. The city is among areas with strongest potential for wind power development in mainland China .

China WindPower Group has good cooperative relations with CLP Holdings Ltd. (0002.HK), Liaoning Energy Investment (Group) Co. Ltd. and Shanghai Shenhua Holdings Co., Ltd. (600653.SH) and has been jointly developing wind power electricity projects in Fuxin area with installed capacity of 250MW.

The latest agreement has increased the Group's wind power resources capacity to a total of 850MW in Fuxin area in Liaoning Province. The Group now has substantial and geographically well diversified wind resources sufficient to support sustainable rapid growth not only in the years immediately ahead but also well into the future.
